What Is the Safety & Security Team?
The Safety & Security team works quietly in the background to protect the congregation and support a safe, welcoming environment during Sunday services and church events. This team allows everyone, children, families, and guests, to gather and worship without distraction or concern.
What You'll Do
Team members serve in observational and response roles throughout the building and property during services.
Time Commitment
1 to 2 times per month, serving at both Sunday services (9:00 AM and 10:30 AM). Serving at both services on a given Sunday is preferred.
Is This a Good Fit for You?
- You have a background in security, law enforcement, military, or emergency medicine, or a strong interest in serving in this capacity.
- You are calm, observant, and comfortable in a quiet, behind-the-scenes role.
- You can commit to serving 1 to 2 Sundays per month at both services.
- You are willing to complete any required training coordinated by the church.
