Crossroads Community Church Buckley gathers every Sunday at White River High School. We are a church planted in Buckley to love, care for, serve, and support the people and families of this community and the surrounding region.
We are not a perfect church. We are a church made up of imperfect people who have been met by a perfect Savior.
That means you do not have to arrive with your life organized, your questions answered, or your faith completely figured out. Wherever you are starting from, our hope is that Crossroads can be a place where you encounter the grace of Jesus and take your next step of faith.
Some people come to Crossroads after following Jesus for decades. Others are returning to church after a long absence. Some are still deciding what they believe. There is room for all of them here.
Why the Name Crossroads?
The name Crossroads comes from Jeremiah 6:16:
"Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."
Every person eventually reaches crossroads in life. They appear in our relationships, families, careers, losses, hopes, decisions, and questions about purpose. They are the moments when we stop and ask what matters most and which direction we should take next.
We believe those moments can lead us to Jesus, who is the Way. Our desire is to help people discover that the crossroads do not have to be places of fear or confusion. Through Jesus, they can become places of love, faith, hope, purpose, and a new direction.
What You Will Find at Crossroads
At Crossroads, you will find:
- Bible-based teaching that connects Scripture to everyday life
- Contemporary worship with occasional hymns
- Young families, grandparents, teenagers, working adults, and people from many stages of life
- A casual environment with no dress code
- A church small enough for people to learn your name
- Space to ask questions and take your next step without pressure
Each Sunday, Pastor Mark opens the Bible and helps us understand what it says, why it matters, and how it applies to real life.
Services last approximately 65 minutes. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. You can participate, sit quietly, or simply watch.

About Our Pastor
Relationships have always been central to my life, shaped by the love and care of my parents, who taught me the value of words, actions, and living with integrity. In high school, I discovered God's love and purpose for my life, making my relationship with Him my foundation.
Now, 46 years later, relationships remain my priority. I've been blessed to share 39 wonderful years with my wife, Cheri, raising three daughters and enjoying life in Buckley as "Papa" and "Nana" to six amazing grandchildren.
As my journey continues, I'm excited for what God has in store for Crossroads Community Church Buckley, dedicating myself to serving and loving others while building strong relationships in our community.
Crossroads Kids & Students
Bringing the Family?
Your kids and students will be in good hands while you're in the service.
Crossroads Kids
Crossroads Kids is available for children from nursery through 5th grade during both the 9:00 and 10:30 AM services. When you arrive, our team will guide you through the secure check-in process. Children are cared for by background-checked volunteers in an environment designed to help them feel safe, welcomed, and excited to return.
Crossroads Students
Crossroads Students, called EPIC, serves students in 6th through 12th grade during the 10:30 AM service. Students have their own ministry environment, leaders, and age-appropriate teaching. It is not simply an extension of the younger children's program.
First-Visit Check-In
Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. Greeters at the entrance will help you find the children's check-in area and walk you through the process.
Feeling Nervous About Visiting?
Walking into a new church can feel uncomfortable. You may wonder where to park, what to wear, whether someone will ask you to speak, or whether you will fit in. Those are normal concerns.
Our greeters will help you find the entrance, but no one will make you stand up, introduce yourself, give money, or do anything you are not ready to do. You are welcome to sit quietly and experience Crossroads at your own pace.
Getting Here
Free parking is available on site. Greeters will be outside to help you find the correct entrance. If the main lot is full, overflow parking is available nearby.
