A Church Near Wilkeson Built on Something Solid

Wilkeson is a small town, under half a square mile total, tucked between Carbonado and the unincorporated community of Burnett along SR 165. It's named for Samuel Wilkeson, an executive with the Northern Pacific Railway, which reached town in 1876 and started mining coal here in 1879.
The sandstone quarried out of these hills is well known too, it's what clads most of the State Capitol buildings in Olympia, plain, durable material that's held up for well over a century. Wilkeson also sits near the northwest corner of Mount Rainier National Park, the old town arch even reads "Gateway to Carbon Glacier." Fittingly, Wilkeson is also home to the oldest Orthodox church in Washington state, so this is a town where faith has deep roots already.
Crossroads Community Church meets nearby in Buckley. We are a nondenominational Christian church centered on Jesus, grounded in Scripture, and committed to building genuine community, one more place to plant those roots.
When Life Brings You to a Crossroad
The name Crossroads comes from Jeremiah 6:16:
"Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."
The ancient paths point us back to the enduring truth of God and ultimately to Jesus, who is the Way.
Every one of us reaches crossroads. We face decisions about family, relationships, work, grief, purpose, faith, and the direction our lives are taking. Crossroads exists to help people meet Jesus in those moments and discover that He offers love, faith, hope, purpose, and rest for our souls.

You can arrive quietly, choose a seat, and observe. Nobody will ask you to introduce yourself publicly. You will not be pressured to give money or make a decision before you are ready.

Crossroads Kids serves nursery through 5th grade during both services. Our secure check-in process and background-checked volunteers help create a safe and welcoming experience.
Crossroads Students
Crossroads Students, called EPIC, meets during the 10:30 AM service for 6th through 12th grade. Teenagers have a place to build friendships, learn, and talk honestly about faith.
