A Church Just Down the Road From Burnett
A Bible-centered church community is closer than you may think.
Burnett is a small unincorporated community along the Carbon River corridor, near Wilkeson and Carbonado. At the turn of the last century it was an important coal-mining center, part of the South Prairie Coal Company's operations, named for the company's operator, Charles H. Burnett.
The mines closed in 1927, and Burnett has stayed a quiet, close-knit stretch of the foothills ever since, small enough that it's never really had its own church.
Crossroads Community Church meets just up the road in Buckley, a few minutes away. We are a nondenominational Christian church for people who want straightforward Bible teaching, genuine relationships, and meaningful ministry for every member of the family.

Crossroads was planted in Buckley, but our heart extends throughout the surrounding communities and foothills. We exist to love, care for, serve, and support the people and families of this beautiful region.
That mission is not limited to Sunday morning. It means building relationships, serving our neighbors, supporting families, and helping people discover the hope found in Jesus.

What Happens on Your First Sunday?
Your kids and students will be in good hands while you're in the service.
Crossroads Kids
When you arrive, greeters will help direct you from the parking area, and families can check children into Crossroads Kids for nursery through 5th grade.
Crossroads Students
Students in 6th through 12th grade can attend Crossroads Students, called EPIC, during the 10:30 AM service, with its own leaders and space.
Then, Choose a Seat
The service includes worship, a welcome, and a biblical teaching message. It lasts approximately 65 minutes. Nobody will ask guests to stand, speak publicly, or give money.
